As a board member for Serve Louisiana, I have the opportunity to support individuals strengthening the nonprofit organizations in our state through a year of service. I also get to serve alongside professionals who lead systems-changing work, and their stories and impact are truly fascinating and I’m proud to say it starts at the top. Jodi Hill is a former Serve Louisiana Corps member who is now the president of the board. She currently is a practicing attorney focused on civil rights litigation. We caught up to learn more about how Jodi has applied the many lessons she’s learned as a corps member, and why she continues to work as a volunteer leading the organization.
